Our handcrafted cord burning bowls are designed to support a gentle, intentional transition as your baby moves from womb to world.

Each bowl in the collection has been thoughtfully created for cord burning, combining function, symbolism, and earthy beauty. Featuring four notches for taper candles and a hand-etched centre design, these bowls offer families a calm and meaningful way to separate their baby’s umbilical cord.

The collection currently includes two designs:

Solar — etched with a radiant sun motif, symbolising warmth, vitality, clarity, and new beginnings.
Terra — etched with a soft spiral, representing growth, grounding, and the slow unfolding of this season of life.

Every bowl is individually shaped and finished by hand. Natural variations in glaze, texture, and tone mean no two bowls are ever the same — each one a one-of-a-kind piece to honour a one-of-a-kind birth story.

Everything you need for a simple and supported cord burning experience:

• Handcrafted cord burning bowl with four notches

• Two hand-poured beeswax candles, made from pure beeswax (colour varies)

• Instruction card with clear, gentle steps for cord burning

• Cotton umbilical cord tie for securing the dried end of the cord

• Goldenseal cord care pouch for caring for the cord stump after separation

Candles are designed to rest within the notches of the bowl during use. It is recommended to hold candles during burning.

Each cord burning bowl is designed to be heat-safe, stable, and functional. Earthy glazes, organic textures, and symbolic centre etchings bring warmth and intention into your birth space.
