The Mother’s Table is an intimate gathering designed for mothers who want a moment for themselves. To slow down, to be looked after, have a beautiful morning and connect with other women understand.
Together we’ll share a beautiful morning of coffee, pastries and a grazing table beneath the trees at Veale Gardens. Meaningful conversation prompts are available to guide discussion, but there is no pressure to answer every question. Some gatherings will follow the cards closely, while others will naturally wander into the conversations that need to be had.
Navigating newborn days, toddler chaos, school mornings or a completely different season of motherhood, you’re welcome here.

The Open Seat
At every Mother’s Table, we keep one seat open.
The Open Seat is a complimentary place for a mother who would love to join us, but for whom the cost of attending isn’t possible right now.
You’re welcome to put your own name forward, or nominate a mother in your life who you think could use a seat at the table. There’s no need to explain or justify your financial circumstances – we just want to ensure every table to have a place that isn’t determined by someone’s ability to pay.
Because there should always be a seat at the table for you.
Cancellation Policy
As The Mother’s Table is an intimate gathering with limited places available, we kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible if you can no longer attend.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for a refund. However, you are welcome to:
- Receive a credit to use towards a future Mother’s Table gathering.
- Transfer your booking to a friend or another mother.
- Gift your place to another mother who may benefit from attending.
If you wish to transfer or gift your booking, please let us know the new attendee’s name and email address before the event so we can welcome them.
